Here we are at our first post-release DevLog. It has been a long road, but we’re finally here. We’d like to start off by thanking our fans for sticking with us, especially those who have been around since the early days. We’d also like to thank all of our wonderful Kickstarter backers as well–we couldn’t have done this without you and hope you are as happy to have the game out as we are, even in this early stage.

For any of you wondering about Kickstarter physical rewards: we have all of them ready to go with the exception of the physical artbook, which needs to be completed and printed before it can be shipped out. We’re working on this and plan to have it completed sometime before mid-November, at which time we will begin shipping all physical rewards out together.

As for the game itself, we have already put our first patch out already fixing some common bugs. We will be mostly focusing on fixing bugs and stabilising the game in the next few patches before adding any big content additions. We thank you for your patience on this front and hope to address some of the most common problems you have been reporting. As for Mac users: we haven’t forgotten about you. We’ve just added some new Mac testers to our QA team and are working on getting you the game as quick as we possibly can.

Regarding progress toward the next patch, we have made significant improvements in our colour-correction, especially at night. Here is a little video for you to give a preview of what to expect from the improved lighting:

Steam Release Trailer & Announcement

Dear Saurian fans,

The game was submitted to Steam on Wednesday and is currently under review. It is entirely in Steam’s hands as to when the game is approved. This means the Steam page may not appear until a day or two after the 31st. We will be able to put the game up for all our Kickstarter backers who have the pre-release, but for the rest of you there may be a short additional wait, this is out of our control. We have our Steam trailer to hopefully help tied you over until then in the event that this happens.

There will be no devlog this week, the whole team is working flat-out on preparing for release and could not be distracted. We hope you enjoy this video of our crocodile AI, and we're excited for you to finally play Saurian very soon!
